The Smudge Fan is wonderful medicine tool. Smudging is an ancient ritual used by many cultures. Dried herbs and incense are being burned and the Smudge Fan is used to waft the smoke around a space or person to clear negative energy, or to fan smoke skyward during prayer. In order to create your personal Smudge Fan, we will step into conversation.

Material
The handle is made of drift wood, I find in river beds. The feathers I work with are provided to me by a traditional, family owned small business in Germany. They take great care especially when it comes to preparation and sustainability. I mostly work with Pheasant and Peacock feathers.
