A medicine pouch is used as a repository for sacred items, revealed to its owner on a vision quest. The items inside the pouch are only known the carrier. The medicine bag is considered the most sacred good of a person. The medicine pouch of a warrior was never to be opened. In comparison, the medicine pouch of a shaman was more of a bundle of sacred objects, used for the rituals.

Material
Sheep wool and elk leather, with a braided strap and pheasant feathers. All seams are hand-stitched with linen thread.
